Ancelotti: Real Madrid gave me what I wanted in 'complicated moments' | International sports

Al Malaeb Newspaper – Real Madrid's Spanish coach, Italian Carlo Ancelotti, thanked the club's management for their support through “calm, serenity and affection” in difficult moments during the first half of the season.

Ancelotti said after the league win over Sevilla: “I never felt like I was in danger because when you know the nature of your job and see that things are not going well, you realize that you are responsible and the club who showed me no concern, but rather offered love, calm and tranquility.”

He added: “He has supported me a lot in this regard, and this is what every coach needs in difficult moments.”

Real Madrid ended the year by winning the Intercontinental Cup and beating Sevilla in the league, remaining one point off the top of the league.

There are doubts about Ancelotti's future at Real Madrid, after mixed results in recent times.
