He’s a mainstay of the club’s UEFA Youth League run – having fired the young Hoops to a last 32 meeting against Salzburg.

A report in the Daily Mail last month namechecked Premier League sides Brentford, Fulham, Ipswich Town, and Wolves plus Championship clubs Burnley and Sunderland in keeping tabs on the Scotland youth international.

And now transfer guru Fabrizio Romano is claiming another couple of Premier League big hitters have come to the party.

In particular, he names West Ham and Brighton – both of whom have a reasonable pedigree for blooding talented young players.

He wrote on X: “West Ham and Brighton are both keen on signing 18 year old Celtic striker Daniel Cummings, with Celtic pushing for him to stay and sign new deal.

“24 goals in 24 games this season for Cummings, out of contract in summer 2025.”

Cummings is out of contract next summer – with the Hoops only due £250,000 in development fees if he does leave.

He was included on the bench for the trip to Ross County last week, but saw Irishman Johnny Kenny get the nod for playing time ahead of him.

A number of talented young Parkhead stars have decided to jump ship in similar circumstances this year, with Rocca Vata and Daniel Kelly leaving this year, for Watford and Millwall respectively.

Cummings said after signing his first contract at Celtic Park two years ago: “It was a brilliant feeling to sign my first professional contract.
